ARV Consulting Sponsors the Pipeline Industries Guild
ARV Consulting Limited (ARV) has sponsored the 63rd National Dinner of the Pipeline Industries Guild, the highlight of the Pipeline calendar, at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane London. The Guild’s Annual Dinner is the most widely recognised event for members to network at the highest level, with an audience including leaders of companies across the entire spectrum of the industry.
The Pipeline Industries Guild was formed in 1957 and has evolved to be the only association world-wide to cater directly for the needs of the pipeline industry, regardless of engineering discipline, application, or qualification. It promotes pipelines, connecting people, advancing pipeline technology and provides a voice for the pipeline industries to share best practice and technological developments.
ARV, an energy infrastructure consultancy business with a significant pedigree in pipelines, recognised the value in sponsoring such a key event and snapped up the opportunity. Tony Voss, Owner Director, said: “In discussing this sponsorship with the Guild, it was immediately obvious the benefits and visibility ARV could enjoy, which made it a very easy decision indeed. The evening was a great success and led to significant visibility and some good new contacts for ARV”.
As an unexpected bonus of the sponsorship, after dinner speaker at the event, Jon Culshaw, produced an ‘impromptu’ and witty spoof horse racing commentary using the names of the sponsors for the evening as the horses. The voice was a generic Peter O’Sullevan type impression, but the spoof commentary began with a reference to ARV Consulting Limited.
Sadly no recording survives!!
