ARV Secures Ofgem RIIO-GD2 contract

ARV Consulting Limited, working collaboratively with QEMS Limited, has successfully completed a formal engineering review of the UK's Gas Distribution Network investment proposals for the upcoming RIIO-GD2 price control. The engineering justification papers reviewed, totalling over £5.8bn, were solicited by Ofgem and are intended to justify mains replacement and other asset capital expenditure intervention volumes on the UK's networks for the 2021 to 2026 period.

Concluding the review, Ofgem commented: "Tony, as well as your technical knowledge, you are a great project manager, ensuring you understood our needs and delivered everything you promised in an organised, open and structured way. This quickly gave us real confidence that we would reach our targets".

The final step now is to provide support to Ofgem as it compiles its initial RIIO-GD2 cost model and draft price control determinations for each GDN.
